- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I have transverse myelitis & acute abcess growths in the paraspinal lumbar muscle. I ended up at Baptist East because my painful physical issues had led to suicidal ideation. Ms. Thomas would not spend more than 30 seconds with a patient. She ignorantly asked if my SCI was due to a gunshot wound. She refused to look at any of the medical records I brought. & after telling the intake worker, triage nurse & ER RN that I was suicidal Ms. Thomas tried discharging me. No empathy no respect. If I was having a heart attack and the paramedics took me to a Baptist Hospital Emergency room & I looked up & saw Dr. Thomas, I would tell them to take me home and let me die.
